Greetings! My name is Matt Higgins and I'm the Head Golf Coach at Concordia University in St. Paul, MN. This sort of thing is new to me. I've never "blogged" before but thought I'd give it a try. The reason for this blog is to keep you up to date with what is going on with the Concordia University Golf team! In the future I hope to post pictures, video and daily updates of our trips. We are affiliated with the NSIC (Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) and NCAA Division II. We are the only school in the Twin Cities area (besides the U of M) that can offer athletic scholarships. We are also the only private school in the state of Minnesota that can offer athletic scholarships!
The women's team is coming off of their best season which saw them win the conference championship, advance to regions, and place 8th in nationals. They also had the highest team G.P.A in Division II women's golf! The men's team is also experiencing new success. We've had our most successful season to date and their team G.P.A is the highest men's team G.P.A at Concordia.
