Day
1
The
team started our day out way too early, but our eagerness for sunshine and
outdoor golf kept the spirits high. We landed in Phoenix at 9 and after packing
up the vans we headed for In-N-Out Burger. This year we have the one and
only Nick Jarrett along for the trip. He couldn’t get enough time with the
team the last 4 years and now is coaching. While he is awesome on the course,
there may be a few complaints about his slow driving and poor navigational
skills J
The
rest of the day was filled with a good practice session at Toka Sticks GC and
trying to soak up the sun. It was so nice to hit off real grass, but the wind
affected our ball flight a little more than it did in the
simulators…
The
house we are staying in is GORGEOUS. From the fountain in the driveway, 7
bedrooms, huge pool, and putting green it will be hard leaving it.
Tonight
we are looking forward to our annual mini-golf tournament and tomorrow we are
going to hike up a mountain.
